This is the main event of the National Capital Region Antique Automobile Club of America. The meet showcases 200 plus antique and classic cars. There will be food and fun for all!

Awards Ceremony @ 2 PM

Event Fee:  $2.00 per person; children under 12 are free.

The Tobacco Trail Antique & Classic Car Meet is the main event of the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Antique Automobile Club of America.  This meet showcases 200+ antique and classic cars that serve as a touchstone to the past and brings to life the classic works of art that once ruled the highways.

 The NCR was founded in 1952 by a small group of men & women who pitched in a total of $ 17.00 to start up a club that now includes the District of Columbia, Maryland and northern Virginia. 

The club’s first activity was to organize a group of antique cars to parade for the Woodward & Lothrop Department Store.  The NCR has been participating in various activities ever since, from swap meets to regional and national car shows and tours, to several parades.

The automobiles will be judged and awards and trophies will be given to several vehicles. 

There will be food and fun for all! 

Stop by the 30th Annual Tobacco Trail Antique and Classic Car Meet and celebrate the automobile as art!

Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum

Located just 45 minutes south of the Washington Capital Beltway in Calvert County, Maryland, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum is a state history and archaeology museum exploring the changing cultures and environment of the Chesapeake Bay region of the past 12,000 years.

Visitors can investigate thousands of years of human history by touring archaeological sites and trails, acres of working farmland, restored farm buildings and museum exhibits, and by attending educational programs.

More than 70 archaeological sites have been identified, from the prehistoric period 9,000 years ago through the Colonial period, and including the site of the 1814 Battle of St. Leonard Creek the largest naval engagement in Maryland’s history. 

Directions:

From Washington Beltway: (approx. 1 hour)
Take Route 4 (Exit 11) south towards Upper Marlboro, keep going south to Prince Frederick. Go through Prince Frederick, continue on Route 4 for 3 miles, turn right on Route 264 (Broomes Island Road). Then follow Route 264 for two miles, then turn left on Route 265 (Mackall Road) and follow for six miles. Turn right into Park entrance. Follow driveway into Park, Visitor Center will be on your left.  Parking is on your right directly acroos from Visitor Center.

From Lexington Park: (approx. 45 minutes)
Take Route 235 north to Route 4. Turn right (north) on Route 4 towards Prince Frederick. Turn left on Parran Road. Follow Parran Road to its end at Mackall Road. Turn left onto Mackall Road and go 3 miles to the Park entrance on the right. Follow driveway into Park, Visitor Center will be on your left. Parking is on your right directly across from Visitor Center.
